About

This restorative 2 night relaxation retreat is an opportunity for you to slow down and switch off. Killeavy Castle Estate is the perfect place to deepen your connection with nature. It is nestled at the foot of the volcanic mountain of Slieve Gullion within a UNESCO global geopark. The retreat includes 2 forest bathing immersions, celebrating Earth Day on Monday 22nd April. Forest bathing/Shinrin-Yoku is an evidence- based wellness practice which evolved in Japan as a stress prevention intervention. You will taste this special landscape during tea ceremonies as part of these experiences in the forest with tea especially prepared with herbs and plants from the Estate.
Chill out in the thermal spa and enjoy gentle walks throughout the Estate. Enjoy home grown, local and seasonal produce during your dining experiences.
