The saying “every day brings something different” was very true last week, as we teamed up with Newry, Mourne & Down District Council for a familiarisation trip to explore some of our local attractions and experiences.

Get ready to hop into Easter and April in style with a month full of exciting events in the beautiful Mourne Mountains & Ring of Gullion. From scenic hikes and nature walks to family friendly activities and cultural experiences, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Dont miss out on all the fun - get organised and start planning your next adventure.

Newry Arts Festival, now in its third year, specialises in bringing an array of renowned acts, original work and innovating talks to the city of Newry.  

This year’s festival will run over Easter week between 1-7 April 2024, offering a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity through a programme of exhibitions, comedy, music and drama in a range of quirky and unusual venues.

There are so many things to see and do in Mourne Mountains & Ring of Gullion, that it was hard narrowing it down to just ten. We have complied a list of reasons to visit this unique and picturesque area and if it doesn't persuade you to visit Mourne, Gullion, Strangford this year, I don't know what will!
